KGF2 is the biggest opener in Hindi films as it garnered a whopping 54 Cr net from its Hindi version in India, now SRK’s Pathaan is likely to break this record if it continues the same momentum in the advance bookings and the movie needs a positive WOM too.

The advance bookings for Pathaan have been terrific everywhere as Shahrukh Khan returns to the big screen after four years and this reason is enough to ensure a massive fireworks at the box office with the fans and audience floating to the theaters.

Partial advance booking for Pathaan opened on Wednesday to a thunderous response, and this pushed the theater owners across the country to start with its booking ahead of the already planned schedule. Pathaan continued with the momentum in advance booking on Thursday too and created a record by selling over 1.7 lakh tickets in 24 hours.

The full-fledged advance booking opened on Friday, and the film is continuing to be in demand across the country. Pathaan as of now has sold nearly 1.7 lakh tickets in the three national chains – PVR, Inox & Cinepolis and it crossed the figure of 2 lakhs yesterday night, which is phenomenal.

Pathaan is looking to beat Hrithik Roshan’s War by Tuesday to score the biggest advance until date for a Bollywood film, and it would be interesting to see if it can come in the range that s like KGF 2. The advances guarantee a record shattering non-holiday opening for Pathaan.
