Rashmika's healthy Gajar Halwa recipe

She is know for hear love toward sweets. so she made her own healthy gajar halwa recipe

½ kg carrot, 3/4 cup brown sugar, 150 grams khoya, cup almond milk, 2 tbsp crushed almonds, 2 tbsp chopped cashews, 2 tbsp sliced pistachios, tbsp ghee, tsp cardamom powder & pinch saffron.


Peel the carrots and wash them. now grate them and collect  in bowl

Step 1

Take almond milk in a bowl, add some saffron and give a mix. keep it aside for later.

Step 2

In a pan, heat ½ tbsp ghee. Add crushed khoya and saute it until it melts completely. Set it
aside as well.

Step 3

In another pan, heat ½ tbsp ghee. Add grated carrots and mix well. Saute them on medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes.

Step 4

Add brown sugar, saute it until the sugar melts and makes the mixture glossy. Add saffron milk and melted khoya. Cook on medium heat till all the milk is either absorbed or evaporated.

Step 5

Your healthy and tasty Gajar Halwa is now ready
