Nani’s Dasara is nearing its release date and the film’s music director is all hyped up for the film. “I listened to Over 90 Scripts in Telugu from the Past 10 Years, Among all those scripts, Dasara Was Best Film I Ever heard, I’m Waiting for that Day People Gonna Celebrate this” – Music director Santhosh Narayanan said in a recent interview.
Santhosh also said he finds plenty of similarities in the way Srikanth and Tamil filmmaker Mari Selvaraj approach filmmaking. “Tamil cinema has had many filmmakers who present raw art forms on screen, from Balu Mahendra to Vetri Maaran and Ranjith. While there have been a few such directors in Telugu, it’s still uncommon. And Srikanth is going to crack that space wide open,” he said.
Meanwhile, Dasara’s craze is not only hyped up in the Telugu States, but it has also got to the other language audience as well. Recently, Several fans of Nani in Maharashtra have created a grand Rangoli representing the popular actor in his ‘Dasara’ look. A colossal Rangoli honoring the actor has been conceived by his admirers of Solapur, Maharashtra.
The artwork highlights it in its ‘Dasara’ look and shows the launch date of the film, highlighting Nani’s popularity beyond the Telugu states.
Directed by Srikanth Odela, Dasara’s music has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan and Sathyan Sooryan ISC handled cinematography. Navin Nooli is the editor and Avinash Kolla is the production designer of the film, and Vijay Chaganti is the executive producer. Sudhakar Cherukuri is the producer.
The film stars Nani, Keerthy Suresh, Dheekshith Shetty, Samuthirakani, Zarina Wahab, Sai Kumar and Rajsekhar Aningi. The film is set to be released in theaters on March 30 in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film is set against the backdrop of Singareni coal mines near Ramagundam’s Godavarikhani of Telangana.
