Assam TET Notification 2023
The State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT) Assam has released the Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Notification 2023. It is a compulsory examination for those desiring to become educators in the State of Assam. The exam will be held in two stages–Paper I for classes I to V and Paper II for classes VI to VIII. Qualified candidates can apply online for the exam via the authorised website of SCERT Assam.
The exam will consist of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) based on the Syllabus prescribed by the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT). The exam will be executed in both English and Assamese languages. Candidates must secure at least 60% marks to pass the exam. Those who qualify for the examination can apply for the teacher post in Assam.
Assam TET Application form 2023
The Assam TET Application form is an online form that aspiring candidates who wish to become teachers in Assam must fill out. The form requires basic personal details such as name, address, age, gender, qualification etc., as well as exam-related information such as the subject for which the candidate is applying, the centre of examination and the date of examination.
After filling out the form, the candidates must pay the application fee and submit the form. The Assam State Education Board will conduct the exam on 30th April 2023. The candidates who successfully qualify for the exam will be eligible to apply for the teacher post in Assam.
Assam TET Last Date 2023
The exam is conducted every year to appoint teachers in government schools. Applicants are mandated to submit the application form within the stipulated time. The application form can be filled in online mode only. The application form must be filled with proper data and should be duly signed and stamped by the candidate.
The exam notification for the ATET was released in the month of January 2023. After the notification was released, the syllabus and exam pattern was available on the official website. The exam will be accomplished in papers Paper I and Paper II. Paper, I will be for Primary Teachers, and Paper II will be for Upper Primary Teachers. The examination will contain multiple–choice questions based on the syllabus prescribed by the Teacher Eligibility Test Board.
Assam TET Eligibility 2023
Candidates must be citizens of India and permanent residents of Assam. The minimum age limit for appearing in Assam TET 2023 is 18 years. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) from an institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in their B.Ed. Course.
